Makassar FPI members arrested for Densus 88, Muannas: There is no term in which opposing the state is considered a martyr

PR TASIKMALAYA – Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) politician Muannas Alaidid responded to the arrest of a suspected terrorist in Makassar, South Sulawesi.

The alleged terrorist who was arrested is a member of the Front of Islamic Defenders (FPI) Makassar.

Responding to this, Muannas Alaidid considered that there is no term against the state being considered a martyr and even dares to call death with the apostle.

“That is why there is no term against the State, the apparatus and the people who are considered martyrs, much less the heart to say death with the apostle. Support the Police! “ wrote the Twitter account @muannas_alaidid as quoted PikiranRakyat-Tasikmalaya.com.


As previously reported, the National Police’s Special Anti-Terrorism Detachment (Densus) 88 had succeeded in arresting suspected terrorists in Makassar, South Sulawesi.

More than one suspected terrorist was arrested and, based on the results of the investigation, the Densus confirmed that some of them were members of the Makassar FPI, although not all were members of the FPI.
