TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The coordinating minister for Maritime Affairs, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, assures that the government provides the best for the Indonesian people, even in the case of Covid-19 vaccination.
To do this, he asked that no one be prejudiced about the vaccination policy that the government is preparing.
“Some say this (vaccination) will get sick later, the president was given an injection. The president yesterday said: ‘They will inject me with people’, Saturday 12 December 2020.
Luhut said Jokowi was also reluctant to get vaccinated first because he didn’t want to break the rules. According to him, the president wanted the vaccines to be carried out in an orderly manner and in accordance with regulations.
“If the president wants to be injected first, he can do it today. But the president does not mean that he wants the president himself first or that he violates the rules,” Luhut said.
