Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –

The Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investments, as well as the Minister for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries are acting. Luhut Binsar Panjaitan Ensure that the lobster seed export regulations issued by Edhy Prabowo through Ministerial Regulation Number 12 of 2020 on the Handling of Lobster, Crab and Crab in the Territory of the Republic of Indonesia are not incorrect

This was transmitted by Luhut after holding a policy evaluation meeting that dragged the non-active minister of the KKP Edhy prabowo as a suspect in the shrimp fry export license corruption case.

“According to existing regulations, there is nothing wrong with Permen,” Luhut said at the building of the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP), Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur, Central Jakarta, on Friday (11/27).

It states that the community enjoys the lobster seed export policy, especially fishermen from the southern coastal areas.

“Providing benefits to the fishermen of the south coast, there must also be attention to the cycle, it must also be extended so that it does not happen later about fishing,” he said.

However, Luhut acknowledged that there was something wrong with the implementation of the regulation. One of the problems is related to the monopolistic practice of exporting lobster seeds.

Monopoly occurs because there is only one company involved in the transportation service. He said this practice should not occur in a government program.

“While what is wrong is a monopoly like that transport that cannot happen,” he said.

Luhut said the problem is currently being evaluated by the government. On this basis, the lobster seed export policy was first temporarily halted.

“The Secretary General and the team are currently evaluating,” he said.
