Luhut himself currently serves as Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investments (Menko Marves), where the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries is under his coordination.

Luhut said his duties as Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Ad Interim were only temporary. He admitted that he was quite confused by the amount of work he had to do.
