Bandung, CNN Indonesia –
Witness the candidate pair Pilkada districts Bandung Kurnia Agustina-Usman refused to sign the minutes of the Scrutiny Plenary KPU. The plenary results indicated that Dadang Supriatna-Sahrul Gunawan won the most votes.
The representative of the Kurnia-Usman candidate’s witnesses, Deden Deni Nugraha, said his party did not want to sign because it had the right to do so.
“What the number one candidate pair did not sign is our political right to reward teams on the field,” Deden said on Wednesday (12/16).
Deden said his party found a series of alleged violations during the elections. Still, he was reluctant to mention the violations in question more clearly.
The decision not to sign the minutes of the KPU plenary meeting, Deden said, was also an attitude of respect for the team working in the field.
“There are findings of electoral violations from the beginning of the process until the implementation of the General Elections, it cannot be denied that this happened. Even if we sign it, it means that we do not respect our friends in the field,” he said.
Deden said his party accepted the results of the recapitulation of votes carried out by the KPU. The decision not to sign, he said, was a response to the alleged violations that had occurred.
“Because they are two different things,” he added.
Bandung Regency KPU Chairman Agus Baroya confirmed that the No. 1 candidate pair did not sign the minutes. However, he emphasized that witness number one had received all the results of the recap at the district level.
“So the witness candidate couple 1 appreciated and substantially accepted the results of the recapitulation. However, they decided not to sign the official report on the certificate of results and did not affect the next process,” said Agus.
In the KPU canvassing plenary meeting, Paslon Dadang-Sahrul Gunawan won the most votes. The number 3 candidate pair that was brought in by PKB, NasDem, Democrat and PKS received 928,902 votes.
The second biggest vote winner was the No. 1 candidate pair, Kurnia Agustina-Usman Sayogi. The couple supported by the Golkar and Gerindra parties received 511,413 votes.
Meanwhile, the number 2 candidate couple, Yena Iskandar Masoem-Atep, who was promoted by PDI Perjuangan and PAN, received 217,780 votes.
