Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – US President Donald Trump has said he will leave the United States if he loses to Joe Biden in next month’s election. This was broadcast at a meeting in Georgia last week.
“Can you imagine if I lose?” Trump said, quoted from Business Insider, on Sunday (10/18/2020). “I won’t feel so good. Maybe I should leave this country, I don’t know.”
He also repeatedly mocked his rival’s candidacy, saying it would be a shame to lose to the former vice president.
Some time ago, The New York Times reported in a poll that Trump lost to Biden. Trump is also said to have lost in terms of campaign funds.
Biden also reportedly raised US $ 383, while Trump only raised US $ 247 million last month. However, Trump said he would not raise more funds.
“I can raise more money,” he said. “I’m going to be the biggest fundraiser in the world, but I just don’t want to.”
In recent weeks, Trump has come under heavy criticism for handling the Covid-19 pandemic, where cases of infection have continued to rise dramatically.
Additionally, The New York Times reports on his tax returns show that he only paid $ 750 in taxes in 2016 and 2017, as well as a myriad of other legal battles.
