KOMPAS.com – The Implementation Management of the Pre-Employment Cards Program said that for the batch of 12 Pre-Employment Cards that were opened today, Tuesday (2/23/2021) there was no registration closing date.
Therefore, participants who are interested in participating in the training are asked to register immediately, since if the quota has been met, it will be closed immediately.
This was transmitted by the Head of Communication Project Management (PMO) for the Pre-Employment Card, Louisa Tuhatu, in a question and answer session with journalists after the virtual press conference for the opening of the Pre-Employment Card. Work 2021, Tuesday (2/23/2021).
“We continue to monitor day by day, once the quota is filled, we will close it immediately,” said Louisa.

Louisa added that the government has budgeted 10 trillion rupees, which is planned to be distributed to 2.7 million recipients in the first half of 2021.
“The final budget is 10 trillion IDR for a semester, with 2.7 million beneficiaries in the exact same scheme as in 2020,” said Louisa.
Previously, at a press conference for the opening of the Pre-Work Card 2021 program, the coordinating Minister of Economy, Airlangga Hartarto, said that the 12th Pre-Work Card selection batch would be opened with fees. 600,000 people.
Requirements for registering the 2021 Pre-employment Card
As reported Kompas.comOn Tuesday (2/23/2021) the requirements to participate in the 2021 Pre-Work Card program are the same as the previous year, namely:
- Indonesian citizens over 18 years of age
- Job seekers or unemployed (new graduates and layoff programs)
- Worker (day laborer / employee)
- Businessman
- Currently not attending formal education
- Does not receive social assistance from the Ministry of Social Affairs (DTKS), BSU, BPUM
- Not TNI / Polri, ASN, members of the DPR / D, BUMN / D and others.

In order for the recipients of the Pre-Work Card program to be distributed more evenly, Coordinating Minister of Economy Airlangga Hartarto said that each KK is limited to a maximum of 2 family members who can receive assistance.
“Recipients of pre-employment cards are limited to just 2 people for each KK,” Airlangga said.
How to register a pre-employment account
The following are the steps to create a pre-employment account:
1. Enter the site www.prakerja.go.id and then click on ‘Register’
2. Enter your full name, email address and new password
3. Verify the Pre-Employment Card email and follow the instructions to confirm the email account.
4. After confirming that the email account is correct, return to the previous job site.

Complete personal data
After having an account, the account owner must fill in their personal details. Here is how to complete the personal data:
1. Log into the account with the email address and password that was created.
2. Enter your KTP number and date of birth, then click ‘Next’
3. Fill in your personal details, starting with your full name, email address, residential address, home address, education, employment status, photo ID, then click ‘Next’
4. Enter the phone number and the OTP code sent by SMS.

Take the test
After filling in your personal details, the account owner will be asked to take an initial test in the form of a basic skill and motivation test.
The following are things to know about this basic skill and motivation test:
- Take a 15-minute basic skills and motivation test. Prepare stationery and paper if necessary
- Please wait for the Pre-Employment Card email notification after completing the test
- After receiving the email notification, return to the site and join the wave of registrations that are currently opening.
