KOMPAS.com – Boxing legend Mike Tyson will have an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr at the Staples Center, Los Angeles, United States, on November 28.

Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. will take place on Saturday (11/28/2020) at 10:00 p.m. local time or Sunday (11/29/2020) at 1:00 p.m. WIB.

For Mike Tyson, this is the first time he’s been fighting in the ring again after retiring 15 years ago.

Next, Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. will fight in eight rounds, each of which lasts two minutes.

Although both boxers agreed with the state sports commission (CSAC) not to seek a knockout victory, both have stated otherwise in pre-fight interviews.

“This will be my definition of pleasure, a broken eye socket, a broken jaw. It’s fun for me,” Tyson told BolaSport.com from Givemesport.

With his recent body transformation and how dangerous he looks in training, Tyson’s threat seems quite real.

This match was originally scheduled for September 12. However, in order to get a large audience, the match was postponed for two months.

The match will be broadcast through the BT Sport Box Office for boxing fans in the UK. However, the social media site Triller will also broadcast the PPV (Pay-per-view) or pay-per-view fight.

Tyson has had such enduring popularity and appeal that his salary is reportedly worth $ 10 million for the fight with Jones Jr.

It is estimated that the fight with Jones was worth $ 3 million (about Rp 42 billion).

The four-hour event begins at 8:00 p.m. local time or 11:00 a.m. WIB.

The undercard match begins at 9:00 p.m. local time or 12:00 p.m.
