In addition, proof of receipt of state money from the state treasury, local government treasury, banks and other institutions designated by the state according to legal regulations, receipts for all types of taxes and receipts of money for internal organizational purposes.
The stamp duty is also not imposed on documents that indicate deposits of money or securities, payments of deposits to depositors by banks, cooperatives and other entities that organize money deposits, or issuance of securities by the custodian to customers.
Other documents that are free from stamp duty are a pledge, profit sharing, interest or performance of securities, as well as documents issued by Bank of Indonesia (BI) to implement monetary policy.
On the other hand, paragraph 1 of article 3 lists the documents that are subject to sealing fees, among other documents that are produced as a tool to explain an incident that is civil and as an evidence tool in court.
