The Ministry of Education and Culture officially launched a salary subsidy assistance program (BSU) for PTK teachers who do not belong to the PNS, today Tuesday, November 17, 2020.

The good news is that, as of today, honorary professors from both the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Religion have been able to directly disburse the November-December BLT funds of IDR 1.8 million.

“To carry out the disbursement, it can be done now for November and December, this non-PNS PTK teacher can activate the account until June 30, 2021,” said the Secretary General of the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud), Ainun Na ‘im, at the official launch of Subsidies. Salaries for educators and educational personnel who do not belong to the PNS in the Ministry of Education and Culture 2020, on the YouTube channel of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Tuesday, November 17, 2020.

The Minister of Education and Culture Nadiem Anwar Makariem also added that the criteria for receiving this assistance were very clear, namely that the honorary teacher was a non-PNS PTK teacher with a salary of less than 5 million IDR.



If these educators work in private or elite schools, it is not a problem to get this help, as long as the salary is less than 5 million rupees, he stressed.

“I think the criteria for the requirements and mechanisms today are very clear if you are a non-civil servant teacher with a salary less than 5 million rupees, if you work in an elite school and have a salary greater than 5 million rupees, then they may not receive this help, “he explained.

He explained that this assistance was not limited to public schools, but if you were an honorary teacher and worked in private schools and paid less than 5 million IDR, you could get this BLT.
