The Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemdikbud) today officially launched the BLT salary subsidy or salary subsidy assistance (BSU) program for non-PNS honorary educators and educators.

The Minister of Education and Culture, Nadiem Makarim, said that this aid was a form of gratitude and concern from the central government for the services of honorary teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This assistance is provided to non-PNS educators, which include teachers, teachers assigned to be school principals, PAUD educators, equity educators, library staff, laboratory staff, and administrative staff.

“It means that school operators are also included in this subsidy aid,” he said.

BLT’s total target for honorary educators is 2,034,732 million people. Made up of 162,277 professors in PTN and PTS, 1,634,832 professors and educators in public and private educational units, and 237,623 library personnel, laboratory personnel, and administrative personnel.
