Suara.com – Al-Azhar University law expert Suparji Ahmad responded to the Omnibus Law on Job Creation which, according to Marissa Haque, would cause people to convert or apostate.
“I don’t think so. The statement should be clear. Why did such a statement come out? I have not found any indication. For example, that the law will make people turn apostates,” Suparji told Suara.com on Thursday (15 / 10/2020).
According to Suparji, Marissa Haque’s statement regarding the context of an apostate or that she is going to convert to religions, is a matter of each person’s faith and their God. There is absolutely nothing to do with the Employment Creation Law.
“The Employment Creation Law is a relationship that refers to how to create employment. What is the relationship between employers and workers like. How investment is regulated. How is the work permit and others. This is related to existing things. In matters of worldly life, “Suparji said.

“Meanwhile, the apostates convert, right? That’s a matter of faith. So there are two fundamental differences,” Suparji added.
Therefore, he reminded Marissa Haque, if you really want to convey your opinion about the rejection of the Intellectual Property Law, it must be the right one so as not to provoke speculation.
“If you have an opinion like this, what are the signs? This must be clarified so as not to provoke speculation of various kinds. Less proportional,” he said.
Suparji emphasized that the Employment Creation Law has absolutely nothing to do with religious relationships. Therefore, the context of the apostasy to make people change their religion must be clearly explained.
“Once again. In general, I do not understand a rule, not a paragraph or an article that can make people become apostate. Because a law is impossible to design like that,” Suparji said.

According to Suparji, Marissa assessed that there are points in the rules governing halal products in the Employment Creation Law. So, he said, perhaps that was Marisa’s consideration for issuing the statement.
“Maybe with the guarantee of halal products. What is considered possible with that matter. But even that is just a technical matter regarding halal certification, yes. Between MUI and local governments, of course. That, but no. a belief is discussed in detail. But only a technical matter about halal product warranties, “Suparji added.
Marissa Haque wrote her views on the Work Copyright Act that was passed by the House of Representatives (DPR) on Monday, October 5, 2020.

“By God,” really wicked “Cipta Kerja Law Omnibus Law these guys … Slowly but surely, 87 percent of the Muslim community in Indonesia was apostatized. Based on the guarantee of halal food,” Marissa Haque said on Instagram .
