Makassar – KPK fugitive Harun Masiku was sued for divorce by his wife Hildawati Djamrin in Makassar District Court. The Makassar District Court granted Hildawati’s divorce claim yesterday on Tuesday (1/16).
“The Makassar District Court broke up the divorce between Harun Masiku and Hildawati,” Hildawati’s lawyer Hari Sakti Zabri said when confirmed by Detikcom on Wednesday (3/17/2021).
This divorce decision was based on the verstek decision Number: 238 / Pdt.G / 2020 / PN Mks dated March 16, 2021. He said that this divorce claim was filed on July 27, 2020 in the Court of Makassar District through the Court.
Hari said that during the divorce trial, Harun Masiku was never present at the closed-door session. Since their second marriage, Harun and Hildawati have not had children.
The two are known to have been married in Singapore on March 11, 2017.
“Between Harun Masiku and my client there is no longer any relationship, therefore in terms of information, existence or any kind about Harun Masiku, it is no longer my client’s business,” he said.
As is known, Harun Masiku has been a fugitive from the KPK for more than a year. Harun Masiku is a suspect in the DPR PAW bribery case. In fact, three other suspects, namely Saeful Bahri, former KPU commissioner Wahyu Setiawan, and Agustiani Tio Fridelina, have already been convicted.
The issue of the death of KPK fugitive Harun Masiku was once revealed by the Coordinator of the Indonesian Anti-Corruption Society (MAKI), Boyamin Saiman. However, the news became confusing because Boyamin later called the KPK suspect out of the country.
