Rizal himself admitted that he had not received any information related to sharp weapons that hit the two security forces, including the secured evidence.

However, he ensured that his party never appealed to protesters to bring these dangerous objects. He also believed that the people who were captured and found to be carrying sharp weapons were not his party.

“We do not know and we do not order or require the participants to carry anything, much less sharp weapons. Because for me it is haram,” he said.

The 1812 demonstration demanding the release of the Grand Imam of the FPI, Rizieq Shihab, is known to have turned violent after the police immediately dispersed the crowd before the action began.

The action, which originally took place at 1:00 p.m. WIB in the area of ​​the Arjuna Wiwaha statue, was immediately dispersed by the police. Police also searched several roads to try to survive.

In the attempt to disperse, hundreds of protesters were arrested and three cars that were known to belong to the masses were seized. Meanwhile, two policemen were attacked by samurai during the dispersal process.

“So far, those who have been hit by the stab but not really, there are two,” Polda Metro Public Relations chief Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus told reporters on Friday (12/18).
