JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The National Commission for the Protection of Human Rights (Komnas HAM) again revealed the developments and findings in the field related to the shooting of six admirals of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) by the police on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road .
This development was broadcast at a press conference in the Komnas HAM building, Jakarta, on Monday (12/28/2020).
“Investigate or trace the scene of the case that is around kilometer 50, and obtain a series of elements that can be declared or can be seen as evidence,” Komnas HAM commissioner Amiruddin said at a press conference on Monday ( 12/28/2020).

Komnas HAM found at least five tests in the TKP. The first find were seven bullet shells.
However, out of the seven projectiles found, Komnas HAM was only sure of the six bullet projectiles found. Later, four bullet casings were also found.
“There are four sleeves, three intact, one that we suspect is the rear,” said Komnas HAM commissioner Choirul Anam at the same press conference.
In addition, Komnas HAM also found car body parts that allegedly appeared after the incident.
Komnas HAM also found recordings of conversations and street CCTV footage related to the shooting incident.
“We need to test this evidence again,” Amiruddin said.

Reconstruction of filming events
Regarding the CCTV camera footage received by PT Jasa Marga, Komnas HAM Commissioner Beka Ulung Hapsara said that her party would build on the shooting incident.
“Our CCTV has obtained recorded evidence from Jasa Marga both before the incident and during the incident. This is related to how we built the event, not only at KM 50, but also before.”
However, Beka said the evidence from the CCTV images had to be analyzed and re-examined.
“You just have to look at the evidence, it’s still crude, it’s still very general, it’s related and it’s not related and we are investigating,” he said.

Furthermore, Beka emphasized that her party had never conveyed any conclusions about the shooting of the 6 FPI soldiers.
Therefore, he asked the public to be more critical and careful with the information that circulates.
“As for the conclusion, we have never made it public. If there is any doubt about the place of torture, whether the torture is true or not, ask the person who distributed it and the person who wrote it,” he said.

I didn’t find the torture house
Furthermore, Komnas HAM Commissioner Choirul Anam also emphasized that Komnas HAM’s investigation found no torture houses for the six FPI army members who were shot by police on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road.
This was transmitted by Anam based on the temporary investigation of Komnas HAM and the circulation of information about the existence of torture houses for members of the FPI laskar.
“That is why I make sure that Komnas HAM has never found a house where he was tortured,” Anam said at a press conference questioned by Kompas TV on Monday (12/28/2020).

Anam continued, currently his group is still awaiting the results of ballistics tests to determine the type of bullets found in the vicinity of the firing points of the six FPI soldiers, that is, on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road.
“Whether the projectile is related to an assembled weapon or not, it must be a ballistic test. So we are not done yet,” he said.
After the ballistics testing process, he added, there will be an additional process to find out if the bullets come from homemade or manufactured weapons.
Anam also emphasized that until now, his party was tracking the events related to the shooting of the six FPI soldiers.

For this reason, he asked the public not to be influenced by the information about the existence of a torture house for the six deceased members of the FPI Laskar.
“We confirm that the statement about the torture house is not correct and we have never transmitted it,” he said.
