LAMPUNG, KOMPAS.TV – Taufik Bulaga, aka Upik Lawanga, also known as Udin Bebek, suspected in the Lampung terrorism case, is suspected of breeding ducks to disguise his weapons manufacturing activities.

“The suspect here claims his name is Safrudin, who sells sliced ​​duck, known as Udin Bebek,” Lampung Regional Police Public Relations chief Kombes Zahwani Pandra Arsyad said on Saturday (12/19/2020), quoted by Kompas.com.

Pandra explained, Upik deliberately kept ducks to disguise the sound of their activities when assembling and testing weapons.

“So the suspect saved this duck so that local people wouldn’t hear the sound when assembling the weapons. The suspect really thought about it,” Pandra said.

Meanwhile, the head of the Public Relations Division of the Public Relations Division of the Police Headquarters, Kombes Ahmad Ramadhan, said that local residents discovered that the suspect had lived there for a long time.

“Since 2013, the suspect has lived at this location,” Ahmad said.
