Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –

Manager Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp, argued with Roy Keane after Liverpool won Arsenal in the third week of the Premier League match, on Tuesday (9/29) morning Indonesian time.

Klopp, who was in the field, had a different opinion with Keane, who was a commentator on the studio. The German manager felt that the former Manchester United player had spoken inappropriate words because of his team’s performance in the victory over Arsenal.

“Is it true that I heard it? Mr. Keane said we looked careless tonight? I heard those words,” said Klopp, who was interviewed by Sky Sports.

Responding to Klopp’s question, Keane explained that there were times when Liverpool players were unable to take advantage of various opportunities.

While he was in Keane’s study explaining the meaning of his speech, in the field Klopp kept asking about the words coming out of Keane’s mouth.

“I just want to know, I want to hear him because I’m not sure I have heard him clearly. Or is he talking about another game? It can’t be this game,” Klopp argued.

“Those are extraordinary words to describe this match, clearly extraordinary. Nothing is neglected, obviously not there,” said Klopp, who thought Liverpool could dominate the game against Arsenal, who were playing at their best.

Keane again tried to explain the situation and straighten out his intentions with the ‘sloppy’ words that had come out earlier.

“No, maybe you heard me wrong. I said there was a moment of carelessness but you were amazing. I give the club a compliment [Liverpool] so I’m not sure you clearly heard me there, “Keane explained.

Hearing Keane’s explanation, Klopp calmed down a bit and thought that the problem was in the unclear audio so he didn’t get the whole point of Keane’s comment.

“You have to listen to everything,” Keane said trying to convince himself that the oversight issue is not directed at Liverpool’s 90-minute game.

“Yes, I’ll see. One hundred percent,” Klopp replied later.

Liverpool are now one of three teams that are undefeated in three games and are in second place behind Leicester City.
