WASHINGTON DC, KOMPAS.com – US President Donald Trump joked with former White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders after North Korean leader Kim Jong Un claimed to wink at her.
Sanders made those claims to him in his book. I speak for myself, where he recounts the moment when he was press secretary.
In her book, Sarah Sanders describes the moment when Kim Jong Un and Trump first met in Singapore in 2018.

At one point, the former White House spokesman admitted that “Kim looked directly at him, before nodding and winking.”
“I quickly lowered my head and continued to write notes for the rest of the meeting, responding only occasionally to other delegations from the United States,” he explained.
When he returned to Air Force One, Sanders later told Trump and the White House Chief of Staff at the time, John Kelly.
Reported The New York Times On Wednesday (2/9/2020), they both laughed at the 74-year-old president jokingly.
“Did Kim wink at you? Are you telling me that Kim Jong Un is interested in you?” asked the president.
The Republican president joked that the 38-year-old should immediately go to North Korea in response.

“Your husband and children may miss you. But to your country, you are a hero!” joked with Sanders.
Then, on another occasion, Sanders wrote about how the 45th president of the United States offered Tic Tac candy to the dictator.
The woman said to be running for governor of Arkansas said Kim was initially confused.
Because he thought Trump wanted to poison him, so he didn’t know how to behave. Then the president caught the gesture.

Sanders describes how his former boss blew on and grabbed a pinch of candy to make sure the food wasn’t poisoned.
“The president tried to confirm that it was a peppermint. After hesitating, Kim took it and ate it,” Sanders said.
In total, since the inaugural meeting in Singapore, the two have met three times in an effort to denuclearize the Korean peninsula.
But this year, Pyongyang is said to withdraw from negotiations with the United States, stating that its promises were empty.
