THIS ACEH – The suspect in the murder case of a primary school boy who defended his mother who was about to be raped, Samsul Bahri (41) died in a holding cell on Sunday (10/18/2020). It was reported that he died of suffocation.

“Yes, Samsul Bahri, suspected of raping Dina, a young mother and murdering her son Rangga, was allegedly killed due to an alleged congestion,” said Langsa Police Criminal Investigation Unit Chief, Iptu, Arief S Wibowo. Sindonews, Sunday (10/18/2020).

According to him, the day before, a resident of the Birem Bayeun sub-district, East Aceh, the suspect was taken by officers to hospital because he complained of shortness of breath.

While in the hospital, the suspect was checked for his health condition, that is, temperature (normal result 36.7 degrees Celsius), blood pressure control (normal result 107/68), oxygen level control (result 97%). They also gave him an infusion for 1 night. On Saturday (10/17/2020) around 06.00 WIB, the doctor allowed the suspect to return to the Police.

“On Saturday night around 11.30pm WIB, the suspect again complained about the oppression and when they were to take him back to the hospital, the suspect was lying in the cell. So the officers immediately took the suspect to the hospital and they pronounced him dead, “said Arief S Wibowo.

Samsul Bahri is a suspect in Dina’s rapist and killed her son, Rangga, who defended his mother when he was about to be raped.
