Chief of General Police Idham Azis | ordered order ranges Kapolda newcomers can ensure their ranks remain neutral during operation Simultaneous regional elections 2020 Next December.
He asked them to optimally prepare their staff in order to be able to safely secure the Pilkada 2020 in a professional manner.
“The Chief of the National Police also emphasizes the Kapolda to ensure that all members maintain the neutrality of the National Police in simultaneous regional elections,” said the Chief of the Office of Public Information (Karopenmas) of the National Police, General Brigade Awi Setiyono, relaying the message from the Chief of Police to reporters at Police Headquarters, Jakarta, on Friday (11/20).
In addition, Awi said that the leadership of the National Police paid attention so that the ranks of Kapolda could ensure the end of the year, Christmas and New Year 2021 activities that would take place during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Awi said the police chief also ordered that Christian worship activities be a priority for the safety of police officers.
“For the presence of the Police to be truly felt by the community and the Kapolda is expected to carry out activities that generate empathy for the community,” Awi said.
At least, the National Police Chief appointed eight new Regional Police Chiefs at the Rupatama Polri Building in South Jakarta on Friday (11/20).
Two of those who took office were the Chief Inspector General of the Metro Jaya Regional Police, Fadil Imran, and the Chief Inspector General of the West Java Regional Police, Ahmad Dofiri. Both replaced old Kapolda, Inspector General Nana Sujana and Inspector General Rudy Sufahriadi.
“The sertijab has been made, there are eight Kapolda posts, there are three more Koorsahli Kapolri, Kadiv Propam and Aslog Kapolri,” Awi said.
