JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Kapolda Metro Jaya Inspector General Nana Sudjana and West Java Police Chief Inspector General Rudy Sufahriadi were removed from their posts because they were found negligent in applying health protocols.
“There are 2 police chiefs who do not follow orders to enforce health protocols, so sanctions in the form of dismissal will be imposed on them, namely Metro Jaya Police Chief and then Java Police Chief Occidental, “said the Chief of the National Police Public Relations Division, Inspector General Argo Yuwono at the Bareskrim Building, South Jakarta, on Monday (11/16/2020).

The removal was indicated in the telegraphic letter from the Chief of Police dated November 16, 2020.
In the telegram, Nana will occupy a new position, namely Koorsahli Kapolri.
Nana’s post as Chief of Metro Jaya Regional Police will be taken over by Chief Inspector General of East Java Regional Police, Muhammad Fadil Imran.
Meanwhile, Rudy was transferred to become a Level I teacher at the Sespim Institute for Polri Education and Training. The post of West Java Police Chief will be filled by Inspector General Ahmad Dofiri.

Argo did not elaborate on the reasons for the firing of the two two-star police generals.
However, it is known that recently there have been a number of mobs in the Jakarta and West Java areas involving the leader of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Rizieq Shihab.
