jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Pol Fadil Imran again issued a strong statement on community organizations (mass organizations).
Fadil emphasized that no mass organization or group can be placed above the state.
“There is not a single group or mass organization that stands above the state, much less have these organizations committed a crime,” Fadil said in Polda Metro Jaya, on Friday (11/12).
“What is the crime? Directing hate speech, committing incitement, spreading hate speech, spreading false news, it is repeated over and over again for years,” he added.
Fadil also stressed that there is no choice but to enforce the law against the mass organizations and groups that carry out these actions.
“So I have to enforce strict laws against a model like this. There is no going back, we must figure this out,” Fadil said.
Fadil also said that mass organizations that act like bullies must be dealt with firmly because in addition to making people uncomfortable, they will also break the fabric of diversity that is the base.
“Besides this being a criminal act, this can also damage the community’s sense of comfort, it can tear apart our diversity, because we use social identities, whether ethnic or religious. No! This country is built from diversity ”, said Fadil.
