Kapolda Jaya Metro Inspector General Fadil Imran visited the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan at City Hall, Monday (11/23). Fadil was accompanied by the Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Komisari Besar Yusri Yunus and his staff.
Fadil, who just took office, admitted that he wanted to keep in touch and discuss a series of tasks with Anies.
“The two, of course, are talking about the tasks that they will face in the future to work together and collaborate so that we can create a safe, peaceful and cool environment, conducive to the economy can function well,” said Fadil at City Hall , Monday. (11/23).
Fadil said his party is committed and will collaborate with the provincial government of DKI Jakarta in the fight against the corona virus (Covid-19) pandemic in the capital city.
“Similarly in the management of Covid-19, how do we work together and collaborate to face the Covid-19 pandemic, which is not yet safe until now?” He said.
Meanwhile, Anies appreciates Fadil’s invitation to collaborate and is ready to work together to ensure that Jakarta is always in a stable, safe and comfortable condition for commercial, social, cultural and religious activities.
“He started his duty and we welcome him back to DKI Jakarta. God willing, we will support each other to ensure that the capital is always in a stable and safe condition,” Anies said.
Fadil officially served as Kapolda Metro Jaya after being inaugurated by National Police Chief General Idham Azis at the Rupatama Polri building in South Jakarta on Friday (11/20). Fadil replaces Inspector General Nana Sudjana, who was assigned to become Chief of Police.
Nana was removed from the post of Kapolda Metro Jaya because he was deemed not to implement health protocols in his jurisdiction, prompting a crowd to break out at an event attended by FPI leader Rizieq Shihab.
