Kasatreskrim Bekasi metro police AKBP Dwi Prasetya said police were looking for the perpetrator who dumped trash so it would be known what kind of waste was disposed of.

After one day the video went viral on social networks, finally the perpetrator who was throwing garbage turned himself in to the Bekasi Metropolitan Police on Thursday (10/22/2020).

There were three people who were videotaped littering the side of Jalan Raya Inspeksi Kalimalang, Ruko Kalimalang Indah, Kelurahan Setia Dharma, Tambun Selatan District, Bekasi Regency.

They are Abun Gunawan as the car owner, Rahmat as the driver, and Agung as the driver.

Bekasi Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol Hendra Gunawan said the rubbish dumped in Kalimalang contained household waste, that is, the remains of Abun’s boy’s birthday party.

He said he would hand the case over to Satpol PP and the Bekasi Regency Environment Agency.

The three perpetrators violated article 20 in conjunction with article 46 of Regional Regulation Number 4 of Public Order of the Bekasi Regency.

In Perda, the perpetrator could face six months in prison or a maximum fine of Rs 50 million.

“Violation of the provisions stipulated in this Perda will be punished by six months in prison or a maximum fine of Rs 50 million,” he said.
