A loud explosion was heard in the Kalibata, Pancoran area of South Jakarta. One of these voices was heard by a netizen named Andini Saras.

This woman who is familiarly called Babah wrote her testimony of hearing the boom in South Jakarta on Twitter. Several other Twitter users responded to Babah’s tweet, who also claimed to have heard of the accident in the South Jakarta area.
Furthermore, before 7:35 p.m., Babah also had a similar explosion. However, he was initially skeptical. He was sure his mother heard the blow too.
“My mother, whose room is on the first floor, also heard the problem,” he said.
Meanwhile, a resident whose address is Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, Danu, heard a boom. He heard a knock around 8:00 pm WIB. Danu can hear the boom in South Jakarta when it rains.
“I heard around eight o’clock at night, I thought it was thunder after the rain. But I don’t know, surely BMKG knows better,” said Danu.
Meanwhile, several Twitter users have tweeted about this boom. They claimed to have heard explosions in the areas of Kalibata, South Jakarta, Tebet, South Jakarta and Pasar Minggu. Currently, the police are verifying information about the explosion.
“It is being reviewed,” said Pasar Minggu Police Chief Commissioner Effy Zulkifli when contacted by detik.com on Sunday (9/20).
