Joko Soegiarto Tjandra, alias Djoko Tjandra, exploded with excitement at the trial of Pinangki Sirna Malasari. Djoko Tjandra cried when she told her case.
“Brother Pinangki and Rahmat came with Anita DW Kolipaking when we discussed my problem. I appointed Anita DW Kolipaking as my lawyer and there on the 19th I gave her the power to act in my interest,” Djoko Tjandra said while testifying at the trial in Court of Justice. Djoko Tjandra described his meeting with Pinangki, Anita Kolopaking, and Andi Irfan Jaya. At the time, Djoko Tjandra admitted that he was pleased with the efforts and efforts of Pinangki et al. He hopes his 20-year case can be resolved.
He continued again but as I did not feel very comfortable alone with Anita alone, on November 25, a week later Pinangki with Andi Irfan Jaya and Anita returned to my office, there Andi introduced me as my advisor to Anita, that’s why I told him that please let me know. I’m happy as long as there is a solution because I want my PK process and this problem, 20 years sir … ”, said Djoko Tjandra.
Suddenly, when telling his case for 20 years, Djoko Tjandra would not stop sobbing. The case is a corruption case involving Bank Bali’s collection rights (cessie) in which Djoko Tjandra is a fugitive in this case.
About 1 minute Djoko Tjandra looked down and sobbed. Then slowly, he continued his words but still stuttered.
“… so … I’ll be happy if there is a solution,” said Djoko Tjandra.
After speaking, Djoko Tjandra was silent again for 2 minutes. Then the judge asked the prosecutor to help calm Djoko Tjandra.
“Be patient, prosecutor, do you have a handkerchief?” the judge asked and then one of the prosecutors approached Djoko Tjandra.
After Djoko Tjandra calmed down again, the prosecutor continued his questioning. Currently, the trial is still ongoing and is suspended.
In this trial, the defendant was Pinangki. Pinangki was accused of accepting a bribe of $ 500,000 out of the $ 1 million promised by Djoko Tjandra. The bribe was received by Pinangki to obtain a fatwa from the Supreme Court (MA) through the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) so that the imprisonment imposed on Djoko Tjandra based on the PK (Reconsideration) decision No. 12 of 11 of June 2009 could not be executed so that Djoko Tjandra could return to Indonesia. without having to undergo a criminal sentence.
PK’s decision was related to Bank Bali’s transfer of claim rights (cessie) case. At that time Pinangki served as a prosecutor at the AGO.
Pinangki was also accused of compromising TPPU by purchasing essential items. Furthermore, he was also accused of conducting malicious consensus regarding the MA fatwa.
