Forum News Network (FNN) journalist Edy Mulyadi denied allegations that he paid witnesses during an interview at the KM 50 rest area regarding the death of FPI troops after confronting police. Edy said the accusation was just a way to distort the facts.
“When it comes to paying the witness, I made a rebuttal video, right? The truth is a lie,” Edy said at the National Police Headquarters, Jalan Trunojoyo, South Jakarta, on Thursday (12/17/2020).
“I said my video said that it was only the PKI method, the communist methods that misrepresent the facts, defame all kinds,” he continued.
Edy said that anyone could claim to be the witness they interviewed. Edy emphasized that he would not say who the witness he had interviewed was.
“Again, if you say that someone suddenly confesses, is it my witness? Oh my A. Not my witness, not A. Who is B? Who is C? Oh, it’s up to me, I don’t want to talk about it.” , said.
