PR BEKASI – The former president of the MPR and founder of the Ummat Party, Amien Rais again criticized the government for the dissolution of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI).

Amien Rais believes that the government’s decision to dissolve the FPI is a political step that has a negative impact on democracy in Indonesia.
“So last December 30 there was an even more devastating event, that is, the FPI was dissolved by the SKB (Joint Decree) of three ministers and other high-ranking bodies,” said Amien Rais, who considered the incident excessive.
“Then those who signed the joint decree were the Minister of the Interior, the Minister of Communication and Information Technology, the Minister of Law and Human Rights, then the others were the chief of police, the attorney general and the head of the agency national counter terrorism, “he continued.
