Aminuddin admitted that he had heard first-hand the demands of the students who were members of the All-Indonesia BEM.

In essence, the students rejected the Employment Creation Law and demanded that President Jokowi repeal the law by issuing a government regulation in place of the law (perppu).

Because many problematic rules are detrimental to workers’ rights.

“I will pass on the statement of the attitude of my friends from BEM SI to the President, nothing less and nothing more. It is all related to the copyright law of the work,” Aminuddin said.

Meanwhile, President Jokowi today is not in the State Palace, which is the place of the demonstration. The president prefers to have an office in the Bogor Palace.

Previously, President Jokowi had also responded to the demonstration against the Employment Creation Law.
