This is a major flood that probably has not occurred in South Kalimantan for over 50 years. The rainfall is very high for almost 10 consecutive days the capacity of the Barito River, which normally has a capacity for 230 million cubic meters, currently enters 2,100 million cubic meters of water, which is why it is overflowing in 10 regencies and cities, ”said Jokowi when reviewing the locations affected by floods in South Kalimantan, as broadcast on the YouTube account of the Presidential Secretariat Monday (1/18/2021).
Jokowi revealed his reasons for looking directly at the flood-affected places in South Kalimantan. Jokowi wants to ensure that the infrastructure repair process is carried out correctly.
