President Jokowi brought all the governors together for a virtual meeting on Friday (09/10/2020) yesterday morning.
During the hour-long meeting, Jokowi asked the governors to help the central government explain the Job Creation Law to the people of his region.
On the occasion of the meeting, Jokowi only provided the opportunity to speak with five governors, namely the Governor of Lampung, Arinaldi Djunaidi, the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil, the Governor of Sulawesi of the South, Nurdin Abdullah, and the Governor of West Kalimantan, Sutarmidji.
Meanwhile, Anies, whose territory became the scene of large demonstrations that ended in clashes, did not have a chance to speak.
Jokowi also prohibited all participants from delivering the results of the meeting. Ridwan Kamil confirmed that the president had prohibited the participants from divulging the content of the meeting.
At yesterday’s meeting, Anies confirmed that he did not have the opportunity to convey people’s aspirations to Jokowi in a virtual meeting held yesterday.
“We cannot provide information. Because everything is requested from the president and the presidential team,” Anies said while reviewing the damage at the Transjakarta bus stop at the Hotel Indonesia roundabout in central Jakarta on Saturday (10/10 / 2020).

Anies Baswedan, who is also the president of APPSI, assessed that the meeting went more in the same direction because President Jokowi almost gave all the information.
