JCI falls, foreign investors Lego shares owned by Crazy Rich

Bisnis.com, JAKARTA – The Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) closed lower in the last trading session in 2020. Foreign investors sold shares belonging to conglomerates and in total obtained a net foreign sale of IDR 332.29 billion across all markets.

According to Bloomberg data, JCI closed down 46.61 points or 0.77 percent in the first trading session today, Wednesday (12/30/2020). The index opened higher to the 6,052.12 level and moved in the range of 5,984.41 to 6,055.97 during the first session.

Total business transactions reached 12 billion shares with a transaction value of 7.68 trillion IDR. Foreign investors posted a net sale of IDR 322.29 billion across all markets. In the regular market, foreign investors recorded a net purchase of IDR 122.24 billion. However, in the trading market, foreign investors made a higher net sale, namely IDR 454.52 billion.

According to data compiled by Bisnis, the shares owned by the conglomerates are for sale by foreigners, albeit at a small value. PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk. owned by Grupo Salim obtained a net sale of IDR 16.9 billion. ICBP shares rose 0.27 percent to 9,325 in the first session.

Later, PT Charoen Pokphand shares were also sold by foreigners with a net selling score of IDR 6.8 billion. Shares of CPIN controlled by the Jiaravanon family were observed to drop 1.89 percent to 6,475 levels. Shares of PT Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia registered a fall of 2.69 percent to levels of 9,950. This Sinarmas Group issuer obtained a net sale of IDR 6.6 billion.

Not to be left behind, PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk shares. it also posted a net sale of IDR 4.1 billion. Through the first session, the issuer controlled by the Kawan Lama Group owned by Kuncoro Wibowo fell 5 percent to 1,710 levels. Kuncoro Wibowo is the fourteenth richest person in Indonesia according to Forbes magazine.
