Harianjogja.com, BANTUL – The Densus 88 anti-terrorist police headquarters continue to detain several residents in Bantul.
After arresting three suspected terrorists in three different locations, on Friday (2/4/2021) and Saturday (3/4/2021), today Sunday (4/4/2021), Densus 88 again arrested a resident of Bantul. DS, 38, resident of RT06 Jomboran, Gilangharjo, Bantul.
DS was arrested because it was indicated that he provided funds to a terrorist network through the organization in which he was involved.
“That’s right, one of our residents was arrested this morning. The arrests were made in Pleret, at breakfast with his two children and his wife. The arrests were carried out correctly and did not involve many people,” said Hamlet Jomboran, Gilangharjo, Bantul, Juli Riyadi, on Sunday (4/4/2021).

Juli revealed that after the arrest of some 30 police officers, both from Densus 88 and Polda DIY, they later conducted a search at DS’s home.
Juli admitted that DS’s arrest surprised her quite a bit. Because, until now, DS is known as a good citizen. DS likes to help local residents and is not closed.

“He is a resident here, not a migrant. Every day he sells Javanese noodles. Earlier during the search, in addition to me, his wife was watching. The two children have been evacuated to their relatives,” Juli explained.
Separately, the Kapolsek Pandak, AKP Wartono, confirmed the incident.
“But I do not have the authority to provide information. Please confirm Densus 88,” he said.
