The provincial government of DKI Jakarta has extended the large-scale transitional social restrictions (PSBB) until December 6, 2020. The odd-pair system has not yet been implemented.
“Tomorrow, Monday, November 23, 2020, the traffic restrictions with the odd-even system (GaGe) are not yet enforced,” Gakkum PMJ Ditlantas Deputy Head of Directorate, AKBP Fahri Siregar, said through his statement on Sunday. (11/22/2020).
It should be noted that the provincial government of DKI Jakarta has again extended the transition period of the PSBB. The PSBB for the transition period in DKI Jakarta was extended for 14 days.
DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan delivered PSBB’s transition extension directly via Jakarta PPID press release on Sunday (11/22). The extension starts from Monday, November 23 to December 6, 2020.
“As we all know, the DKI Jakarta provincial government may implement an emergency brake policy if there is a significant increase in cases or an alarming level of transmission that jeopardizes health system services,” Anies said.
Anies said that currently the cases in DKI Jakarta are under control. However, he requested that residents continue to implement health protocols.
“Based on epidemiological data during the PSBB implementation for the Transition Period in the last two weeks, the condition of the COVID-19 outbreak in the capital city of Jakarta is still under control and is heading towards safety,” Anies said.
“However, we must be more vigilant and more disciplined in health protocols,” he continued.
