WINE, KOMPAS.com – The ISIS sympathizer who killed four people in Vienna, Austria posed with a gun before carrying out the shooting.
Local authorities announced that the perpetrator was Kujtim Fejzulai, a 20-year-old who opened fire on people in the central area of Vienna.
Fejzulai is said to have been a citizen of North Macedonia and Austria, where he was shot and killed in an incident that took place on Monday (11/2/2020).

The terrorist was reportedly found guilty of terrorism charges in April, in which the ISIS sympathizer attempted to travel to Syria.
Interior Minister Karl Nehammer said Fejzulai uploaded a photo on Instagram of him posing with two weapons before attacking.
The young man attacked near a synagogue at 8:00 pm local time, armed with an automatic rifle, pistol and machete.
Kujtim Fejz started walking down the road wearing a fake suicide vest, where he then fired random shots.
Reported Daily mail On Tuesday (03/11/2020) he injured 22 people before being “incapacitated”, that is, shot to death by the police.
Nehammer explained that after the attack the police carried out a large-scale operation with a total of about 14 people arrested.

From the authorities’ investigation, Fejzulai is believed to have been the sole perpetrator of the attack. And there was no one else to help him.
“According to the video that was examined and evaluated by the police, at this time there is no evidence of a second perpetrator,” Nehammer said.
Fejzulai was born and raised in Austria, where he was one of 90 children known to intelligence for having radicalized and heading to Syria.
In December 2019, he was granted an early release because at 19 he was deemed incapable of carrying out attacks.

Falter’s editor Florian Kenk wrote that the police thought this young man of Albanian blood would not dare to carry out acts of terror in Austria.
Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said the attack carried out by Falter was based on hatred and was a terrorist attack.
“He hates our core values, he hates our way of life, he hates our democracy where everyone has the same rights,” he said.
Kurz said then that his government carried out a three-day dueling action, with the flag at half mast until Thursday (5/11/2020).
The attacks took place while people were enjoying their last night out, before Austria entered the blockade.
