SuaraJakarta.id – DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan requested that the protesting masses who rejected the Cipta Kerja Omnibus Law disband.
However, before disbanding, he invited the masses to sing Bagimu Negeri.
Anies had heard the aspirations of the masses to reject the Job Creation Act.
He then asked them to return to their respective homes to rest.
“Now is the time to hear (aspirations), we are all returning to our respective homes,” Anies said at the HI roundabout in central Jakarta on Thursday (10/8/2020).
After that, the protesters were asked to monitor the progress of this refusal action from their respective homes.
“Monitor and follow developments because it is our fight,” he said.
Additionally, Jakarta is currently in a Covid-19 pandemic state.
Therefore, a crowd that is too large will have the potential to infect the corona virus.
“Especially now that there is a Covid outbreak. This is a risky message. I don’t want those who feel like fighters to go home without getting sick,” Anies explained.
After that, he asked the protesters to stand up and sing Bagimu Negeri together.
“Let’s all stand up now. We sing Bagimu Negeri,” he concluded.
After that, Anies joined the singing with the action crowd as he clenched his fists.
Shortly afterwards, the protesters, who had been demonstrating with the help of the authorities, broke up.
