Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –
Acquisition of votes by pair of candidates Denny Indrayana-Difriadi is currently outnumbered by the votes won by the incumbent pair of candidates Sahbirin Noor-Muhidin in the elections for governor of South Kalimantan (South Kalimantan Pilgub) in the provisional calculation of the Recapitulation Information System (Sirekap) on the official website of the General Electoral Commission (KPU).
Denny-Difri has been at the helm since voting day on December 9. Although the difference is small, their votes are always above the incumbent Sahbirin-Muhidin.
On Monday (12/14) at 08.25 WIB, the position started to reverse. Denny-Difri currently controls 49.8 percent. Meanwhile, the incumbent is now ahead at 50.2 percent.
Currently, the votes for the 2020 South Kalimantan Pilkada that have entered the KPU Sirekap have reached 82.61 percent. The recapitulation of votes in 7,492 of 9,069 polling stations has been included in Sirekap.
At a press conference Sunday night (12/13), Denny claimed there were wrongdoings at Sirekap. He claims that his vote gain in various places has decreased.
Although at that time Denny-Difri’s position was still superior. They got about 51 percent of the vote, while Sahbirin-Muhidin got 49 percent.
Prabowo-Sandi’s former attorney stated that he was ready to face disputes over the Constitutional Court’s results, either winning or losing on the manual recap. Because according to him, the acquisition of votes was very scarce between the two pairs of candidates.
“I invite all people who know that there is evidence of fraud in any form and have evidence of any form of fraud, video, photo, voice, whatever, to send it to the number 081977726299,” Denny said in a broadcast press conference on Denny Indrayana’s Facebook account, Sunday (12/13).
