Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Pol Ahmad Luthfi also ordered his staff not to hesitate to monitor crowd-provoking activities.
He also ordered the police chiefs to ban and disperse the people who gathered on New Year’s Eve.
“My order is dissolved. Please use existing regulations,” Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi said in a press release in Semarang on Saturday (12/19).
His party emphasized that there should be no party that creates a crowd during Nataru’s celebration later.
According to him, the police, stakeholders and the public should not be selfish in their efforts to reduce the number of Covid-19 cases.
