Muhammad Basmi was arrested by Bareskrim Polri for allegedly insulting the Presidential Chief of Staff, Moeldoko, through posts on his Facebook account. This is apparently not the first time that Basmi has uploaded an insulting post.

“This is not the first time that the interested party has done this. The interested party has made several similar publications on his Facebook account,” said the director of Cybercrimes of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police, Brigadier General Slamet Uliandi, to detikcom, on Sunday (10/18/2020).

In his upload to Facebook, Basmi posted a news link while insulting Moeldoko. Here’s Bahmi’s post.

“SOUND IS CONSCIOUSNESS. A ** Ku ** MOELDOKO is just a group of former generals with the mindset of being a FOREIGN BUYER and CONTRIBUTOR. Greetings, MUHAMMAD FB (BEN)”, reads Basmi’s post.

Basmi also had time to upload articles related to ‘Joko Vidodo’. According to him, many people do not believe in ‘Joko Vidodo’.

Furthermore, Basmi also commented on the video of the interview with Labor Minister Ida Fauziyah, which was seen as leading to the substance of the question being toned down. Basmi also referred to the mindset of President Jokowi’s minister as a global lackey.
