JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The National Police revealed that the statement of the Inspector General Napoleon Bonaparte requesting Rp. 7 billion from Djoko Tjandra for “our top officials” was not in the investigative report (BAP).
Napoleon’s request was revealed in charges read in a trial at the Corruption Court in Jakarta on Monday (11/2/2020).
“The fact is that when he was examined as a suspect by investigators, the sentence did not exist, the answer was not there,” Awi Setiyono told the Public Information Office of the Public Relations Division of the National Police (Pol) on Tuesday. at the Bareskrim Polri building in South Jakarta (11/03/2020).
According to Awi, the prosecutor (JPU) has the right to examine the suspect when there is something that needs to be investigated when making a letter of accusation.

He also questioned why Napoleon did not reveal this when investigators were examined as suspects.
Awi said the researchers will certainly study the information if it is revealed during the exam.
“If during the investigation process the person in question is subjected to such a sound, the investigator will definitely look for the connection between the testimony of other witnesses and the responses of the suspect himself, he will definitely be persecuted,” he said.
Furthermore, Awi said, his party will continue with the trial process.
It was reported that Inspector General Napoleon Bonaparte had asked Djoko Tjandra for money for those whom he referred to as “our high command.”
