Indonesian U19 National Team vs Dinamo Zagreb results, young Garuda wins second win

KOMPAS.com – The Indonesian U19 team managed to beat Dinamo Zagreb in the last test match in Croatia.

The match between the Indonesian U19 team vs Dinamo Zagreb, which was played at the Maksimir Stadium (Dinamo Zagreb Academy), on Monday (9/28/2020) at WIB night, ended with a score of 1-0 for the Garuda Muda’s victory.

The only winning goal for the Indonesia Under-19 team was scored by Witan Sulaeman in the 38th minute.

The U19 National Team also registered a second victory and closed at the same time entertainment center (TC) in Croatia with good results.

The Indonesia Under-19 team was confident early in the first half. Fueled by attacking duo Braif Fatari and Irfan Jauhari, Garuda Muda dared to press high towards Dinamo Zagreb’s defense.

After receiving a long pass from Braif Fatari, Witan stabbed into the penalty area before launching a precise left-footed shot that entered Dinamo Zagreb’s goal.

Witan Sulaeman’s goal saw the Indonesian under-19 team close out the first half with a 1-0 lead over Dinamo Zagreb.

Going into the second half, Shin Tae-yong entered Mochammad Supriadi to replace Imam Zakiri. On the other hand, Dinamo Zagreb played more aggressively to catch up.

Again, using the short corner kick scheme, Supriadi nearly doubled the U19 lead in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, Supriadi’s kick went wide on the right side of Dinamo Zagreb’s goal.

Shortly after, Garuda Muda’s counterattack threatened Dinamo Zagreb’s defense. However, Irfan Jauhari was unable to reach Bagas Kaffa’s horizontal pass.

The disciplinary play behind the Indonesian under-19 team led by Rizky Ridho was powerful enough to contain the aggressiveness of Dinamo Zagreb in the second half.

Andrej Miokovic’s squad opened more shots from outside the penalty area to dismantle Garuda Muda’s defense.

Dinamo Zagreb continued to beat the U19 defense for the remainder of the second half, while Garuda Muda occasionally launched a dangerous counterattack through Witan Sulaeman.

The last chance for the U19 team was present in the last minutes of the second half through Witan Sulaeman after receiving the offer from Supriadi. However, Witan could not get the ball into an empty net.

Until the match is over, no additional goals have been created. The Indonesian under-19 team also beat Dinamo Zagreb 1-0.
