Indonesia rejects Israeli diplomat, Palestinian president thanks Jokowi

KOMPAS.TV – Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas expressed his appreciation for Indonesia’s position in refusing to normalize relations with Israel.

Including Indonesia’s commitment to achieve peace between the two countries first in accordance with resolutions and international law.

President Abbas’s statement was made after the Indonesian government firmly rejected diplomatic relations with Israel.

President Abbas also thanked Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) for the attitude of his country that supports Palestinian rights.

On this occasion, the Palestinian president also thanked Indonesia for its position in supporting the Palestinian issue in international forums through its membership in the United Nations (UN) Security Council.
