JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The Indonesian government through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has broadcast its position regarding the parody of the national anthem Indonesia Raya.

“The Indonesian Embassy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have communicated with the government and relevant authorities in Malaysia about this incident,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Teuku Faizasyah told Kompas TV on Sunday (12/27 / 2020).

As of the results of this communication, Faizasyah continued, there were further actions by the Malaysian government against this account.

“Also, the Malaysian government has taken action on what Indonesia said,” said Teuku Faizasyah.

Meanwhile, the Malaysian Embassy in Jakarta, through its official statement, claimed to have learned of a video that was said to have been uploaded by Malaysians to YouTube.

“The Malaysian Embassy in Jakarta is aware of a video insulting Indonesia, which is said to have been uploaded by a Malaysian citizen,” wrote the official statement from the Malaysian Embassy on its official Facebook page on Sunday (27 / 12/2020).
