JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The government has taken various forms to suppress the spread of Covid-19, but the number of cases continues to increase today, Saturday (9/19/2020).

The government stated that the transmission of the corona virus was still occurring, so there were a large number of Covid-19 patients.

According to data from this Saturday at 12.00 WIB, there were 4,168 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

This has caused the total number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia to now reach 240,687 people, as of the announcement of the first patient on March 2, 2020.

This information was revealed by the Covid-19 Management Working Group through data sent to journalists on Saturday afternoon.

Data can also be accessed on the site covid19.go.id or the website of the Ministry of Health, which is updated every night.

The number of Covid-19 cases continues to rise, but the government is trying to give hope by showing that many patients are recovering.

In one day, there were 3,576 additional Covid-19 patients who recovered and were no longer infected with the corona virus.

Therefore, the number of Covid-19 patients who recovered reached 174,350 people.

However, the sad news continues to reach Indonesia with the addition of Covid-19 patients who have died.

In the period from September 18 to 19, 2020, 112 patients with Covid-19 died.

In that way, the Covid-19 death rate in Indonesia has now reached 9,448 people.
