LIVE – Soldiers from the Indonesian National Army Air Force were sent to a military detention center for acting recklessly and violating military discipline when Rizieq Shihab returned from Arabia.
The TNI AU soldier with the initials BD was thrown into the POM Unit Military Detention Center at Halim Perdana Kusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, after making a video singing about the leader of the FPI, Rizieq Shihab. Unfortunately, the video was widely circulated on social media.
According to official information from the Indonesian Air Force Information Service reported by VIVA Military, on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, what a soldier with the rank of Chief Sergeant did violated the rules. For this reason, the Military Police and TNI intelligence intervened immediately.
“Now it has been handled by POM and intelligence. If I see it it is a violation of military discipline,” said Chief of the Indonesian Air Force Information Service, First Marshal Fajar Adriyanto.
Serka BD made a singing video to welcome Rizieq Shihab to Indonesia. The video was recorded on his cell phone and he is still wearing his full Indonesian Air Force uniform.
In the video, Serka BD mentioned that the arrival of Rizieq Shihab was well received by the TNI soldiers.
It should be noted that, thus far, TNI has warned all soldiers to be careful when making video content. Also, those that have nothing to do with military duties.
