KONTAN.CO.ID – BEIJING. China’s Ministry of Commerce issued a regulation on a list of “untrustworthy entities” on Saturday (9/19), which is part of a growing rift with the United States (US).
Quotation Reuters, Through the list, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce will target foreign companies and individuals who endanger China’s sovereignty and security.
After President Donald Trump’s Administration imposed additional tariffs on Chinese products and restrictions on Huawei Technologies last year, China vowed to create a list aimed at punishing foreign companies deemed dangerous to Chinese interests.
Only the list has not been published.

The United States said on Friday (9/18) that it would ban the WeChat messaging app and TikTok video-sharing app in US stores starting Sunday (9/20) evening. This is a measure that would prevent the people of Uak Sam from downloading the Chinese-owned platform for fear that they pose a threat to national security.
Commit discriminatory acts
According to the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, the list is aimed at foreign companies and individuals who violate normal market transactions in the land of the giant wall, interfere in agreements with Chinese companies, or commit discriminatory actions against Chinese companies.
