The SMS contains a unique link that only the recipient can access to independently update data, including confirmation of account numbers.

He recalled, for workers who have not confirmed the SMS to confirm immediately.

The aim is that wage subsidies in the form of cash totaling Rs 2.4 million can be immediately distributed to them.

Not everyone can send SMS

Utoh explained that the recipient of the SMS notification is only sent to:

  1. Disabled workers after June 30, 2020

  3. Workers are not / have not participated in the pre-work program

This includes employees or workers who have disbursed JHT in July or August, but remain active participants of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan until June 30.

They are a group of workers whose account numbers are not communicated by the company to BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. In fact, according to Utoh, they are also entitled to obtain BSU.

“Yes, they are still entitled to obtain BSU, because the participants are active as of June 30, 2020,” he said.

Previously reported, BSU was awarded to private employees and honorary employees with salaries less than 5 million IDR who were active participants of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan until June 30, 2020.

Meanwhile, workers who just signed up for BPJS Ketenagakerjaan after June 30, 2020 cannot get BSU, even though the salary is less than 5 million IDR.

The salary subsidy will be disbursed gradually, until December 2020. Currently, the salary subsidy has entered stage 3, while stage 4 is still in the data verification process.
