A total of four members of the Siliwangi Bandung Chapter of the Harley Owners Group (HOG SBC) are suspected in the case of beating TNI soldiers in Bukittinggi, West Sumatra, so far. Aside from the threat of imprisonment, community sanctions haunt them.
As a reminder, the beatings of two TNI soldiers were videotaped. The two soldiers were attacked by a group of Harley-Davidson clubs in the store’s yard.
It is said that the persecution of the two TNI servicemen with Regional Army rank occurred on Friday (10/30), around 5:00 p.m. WIB. At that time, the two TNI soldiers were crossing Jalan Hamka, Guguk Panjang, Bukittinggi.
The two TNI soldiers stopped their vehicle as the motorcycle convoy passed. A group of convoys turned out to be left behind and arrogantly riding their motorcycles, causing the motorcycles of two TNI soldiers to roll off the shoulder of the road.
In the end, a fight broke out when the TNI soldiers stopped and asked what was the reason the moge convoy was breaking through. Finally there was a beating from both of them. The police intervened.
Initially, there were two suspects, MS (48) and B (18), who first became suspects and were arrested. Both are subject to article 170 of the Penal Code related to beatings.
“The two have now been detained in the Polres Detention Center on suspicion of Article 170 of the Penal Code,” Bukittinggi AKBP Police Chief Dody Prawiranegara said on Saturday (10/31/2020).
Later, two members of the Harley club that followed were named suspects. They are HS alias A (48) and JAD alias D (26). The two men were suspected of having participated in the assault on Serda M Yusuf and Serda Mistari.
“The two suspects have been detained at Bukittinggi Police Prison, so the total number of suspects is 4, all of whom are being held at Bukittinggi Police Prison,” Dody said on Sunday (1/11/2020).
