Bisnis.com, JAKARTA – The Head of the Covid-19 Management Unit for Public Communication, Lula Kamal, has certainly resigned from his position.

The name that Lula adds to the list of Covid-19 Working Group members who have resigned.

Lula Kamal claimed to have left the Working Group since September 2, 2020.

He reasoned that he could not work intensively in the Working Group because he was subject to various contracts with other activities.

“Working in the Task Force cannot be partial,” Lula said when his resignation was confirmed.

Apart from Lula, Akmal Taher has just left the Task Force, the Head of Health Management of the Covid-19 Management Task Force.

The former managing director of the Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital was reportedly out because the program he had planned to handle Covid-19 was not running.

Akmal is known to have submitted his resignation letter to the Head of the Covid-19 Management Working Group, Doni Monardo, on the night of Thursday, September 24, 2020.

In the letter, he said that he would still try to help manage Covid-19 in his own way.

“I feel like I can play a role in other places to carry out the steps that I believe in, namely tracing, testing and treatment,” Akmal said.
