KOMPAS.com – The wage subsidy assistance (BSU) provided to workers affected by the corona virus pandemic is still ongoing.

Labor Minister Ida Fauziyah confirmed that the wage aid or wage subsidy in period II will be distributed from the first week of November 2020.

Ida explained that the wage subsidy aid to the 12.4 million private workers who have been validated by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan will effectively be divided into two stages of distribution.

A similar sentiment was also expressed by the Director of Cooperation in Institutional and Industrial Relations, Ministry of Manpower, Aswansyah.

“According to what Finance Minister Sri Mulyani said, it is scheduled for early November 2020,” Aswansyah said. Kompas.com, Wednesday (10/28/2020).

BSU is a direct cash assistance (BLT) channeled to workers or workers with a salary of less than Rp 5 million per month.

The employee BLT of Rs 600,000 was spread over four months or a total of Rs 2.4 million.

In addition, this aid is distributed in stages, namely the first period of Rp 1.2 million in September-October 2020 and the second period of Rp 1.2 million in November-December 2020.

So how do you check the BSU on each account?

From the news of Kompas.com, (9/27/2020), there are 10 steps to check if you are a beneficiary of the II BSU term.

1. Open the official Kemnaker page, kemnaker.go.id.
2. Click the “Register” button at the top right of the website.
3. Complete the account registration by filling in the NIK and the name of the father, either father or mother
4. Click “Register Now”
5. At the end, the Ministry of Manpower will send an OTP code that will be sent via SMS to the mobile number that has been previously registered.
6. Activate the account after obtaining the OTP code
7. Return to the official kemnaker.go.id site and click the “Login or Login” button
8. You must complete the form fields on the site which are divided into 7 stages. Make sure all fields are completed with complete and correct information, starting with profile, marital status, education level, occupation and others.
9. Once everything is complete, the status of your notification will appear in the dashboard if it is included in the list of proposed BSU recipients from BPJS Ketenagakejaan to Kemnaker
10. On the dashboard, there is a button to “submit a complaint” if you have registered in the Ministry of Manpower system but have not received a wage subsidy.

BSU distribution restrictions

Previously, Menaker Ida said that there were a number of obstacles encountered in distributing BSU, namely:

• There is duplication of accounts
• The account has been closed
• Passive account
• Invalid account
• Account frozen
• There is an account that does not match the NIK in the KTP
• Account not registered

In the meantime, if workers are experiencing difficulties and have not received BSU, they can consult the team at the BSU prevention post.

It is known that for the distribution of these funds to be correct, the Ministry of Human Resources is working with the Higher Audit Agency (BPK).

BSU recipient requirements

Ida emphasized that the wage subsidy assistance will be distributed until it is completed.

The government aims to provide wage assistance to 15.7 million workers or laborers who meet the criteria.

Meanwhile, for workers or day laborers who have not received wage subsidy help, it is probably because the requirements are not met.

Regarding the requirements of BSU beneficiaries, among others:

• Active Registered Workers of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan until June 30, 2020
• Salaries below 5 million IDR
• Submit an active account number

“Then of course include the name according to the KTP, the name according to the BPJS employment card,” he said.
